I want to always be able to remember the details and frustrations leading up to my wedding. Bryan and I poured so much of ourselves into our special day. We did a lot of DIY projects for financial reasons, but I also wanted to feel more connected to the event. I wanted to feel proud of what we did when we celebrated in our love with friends and family. Also, I have a bit of control issues, so I knew that if I did something myself I could get it to be exactly like I wanted it. I was also extremely inspired by other blogs- weddingbee- and thought hey, I want to do that! :)
